Day 1: God Finds me when i have troubles
Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you. Psalm 50:15

Bible Skit lead by Ms Kathy
The Birth of Moses
Today we learned during our Bible Lesson Skit:
God’s people were slaves in Egypt. They wondered how long it would be before God would deliver them.
Baby Moses would grow up to lead God’s people out of slavery. God had a plan, even in the middle of their troubles!
Sometimes we may wonder if God has a plan for us. We wonder if He is keeping His promises. We become discouraged by troubles. It seems they don’t end.
But God’s plan and timing are perfect. He is always doing what is best for us. Even when we doubt, His Word and promises are true.
We call on Him and trust Him. Just like God delivered baby Moses from the river, in His perfect time and in His perfect way, God will always deliver us and help us, His children!

The Cross is the most profound and obvious physical thing that not only demonstrates God's love for us but His commitment to save us from sin, death and the power of the evil one.
The students were given a cross to create within the form as they wished. It is amazing to see their creativity and their talent in designing and then making their cross.
They worked on their cross over the next few days. When finished it is something they will look at and hold onto that will remind them that God not only hears their prayers, but He answers them in ways that build their faith and comforts them.

The Crossing of the Red Sea
Our young Christians were formed into two teams.
One team would be the Israelites crossing the Red Sea and the other team would try and roll a ball across their path to hit their foot which would result in the team member having to leave the game.
The first time the team tried to get across no one made it and they switched sides. It is amazing how quickly the Israelites crossing the Red Sea discovered how to safely cross even as the other team discovered new ways to hit their feet with the rolling ball.

Day 2: God Finds me when I am lonely.
Fear NOT, for I am with you. Isaiah 41:10

Ruth and Naomi
The Book Of Ruth
Naomi and Ruth felt lonely when their husbands died. God found them in their loneliness and gave them a new family. There are times when we also feel lonely. Yet we are never truly alone. God is always with us, loving and caring for us. He invites everyone into His family through Jesus.

After an evening of thinking about how they wanted to create their cross within the form they now got to start putting their ideas into reality.

In our Bible account today, we learned how Naomi lost her husband and sons, all while living in a foreign land. She must have felt so lonely! But God found Naomi and Ruth in their loneliness. He gave them a new family and welcomed them into the family of God.
Ms. Deb divided our children into 2 teams. She scattered sticks in the play area and assigned one color per team. She gave the first player in each team a pair of kitchen tongs. When she said “Gather the grain!” the players ran to pick up a stick of their color from the “field” with the tongs and drop it in their bowl. Play continued with the next player until all their sticks have been gathered.
Next, the team found the sticks with words, arranges them in order, and shouted “Fear not!” to show they have completed the challenge. They continued playing until both teams had finished.
God welcomes us into His family and promises to be with us always! How does that promise help you when you feel lonely

Ruth and Naomi were alone. Their husbands had died. But God had a plan for them. He sent them to a new home. He gave them people like Boaz to protect and care for them.
Even though Ruth and Naomi went through difficult times, God never left them or forgot them. He was with them and was taking care of them.
Even when we feel like God isn’t with us, He is! We cannot see Him, but He is there. He has given us faith to trust in Him. He has forgiven our sins and given us the hope of eternal life. He has promised to be with us forever!
